Rhythm Collision Sound founder and operator/selector Basmati returned to Brisbane in 2002 after several years living overseas and interstate. Having first being introduced to reggae and dancehall music on the Caribbean coast of Central America and the soundsystems of the streets of inner west London, he has been listening to, collecting, organising & promoting reggae and dancehall shows and deejaying reggae music throughout his travels. He has built up an extensive reggae music collection and knowledge of reggae history and culture. Basmati is complemented on tunes by Hemi Tuff originally from Port Vila, Vanuatu

With the freshest "UP TO THE TIME" reggae riddims from Jamaica selected by Basmati and Hemi Tuff in today's modern conscious roots, dancehall and outernational as well as the classics, samples, effects and delays makes a Rhythm Collision Sound show a unique energetic live experience.
